The South West Boys Championship was hosted by Perranporth Golf Club, the course was presented in tremendous condition and was a great test for the field.
The stroke play was well contested and the players fought hard to keep the scoring down Gloucestershires Amborose Eaves had the best of the morning with a stunning round of 67 one better than Wiltshires Toby Clark. Devons Hugo Dennison kept in touch with a fine 70. There were a further 5 players all tied on 72 keeping them in touch with the leaders. The afternoon saw some better scoring with Ambrose coming home with a fine level par to put him at the top of the leaderboard on 3 under. Wiltshires Ayden Knight had a great 68 to put him into second on 2 under. Devons Hugo Dennison shot 73 for a one under total of 143. The day belonged to Toby who fought hard in the closing stages to come home with a level par 72 and a four under total of 140 to give him the title to become the 2025 SW Boys Champion.
Congratulations Toby on a great win.
