a) The Championship shall be played by scratch stroke play over 18 holes.
b) The Winner shall be the player who returns the lowest score over 18 holes and shall be the Boys’ U16/U14 Champion of the South Western Counties Golf Association for the ensuing year and shall be the holder of the Eric Scott-Cooper Cotswold Ram Trophy for that time.
c) The competitor who returns the lowest Under 14 gross score over 18 holes shall be the holder of the Ray Lawford Trophy and the lowest nett score over 18 holes shall be the holder of the Ian Clark for the year.
d) In the event of a tie the winners shall be decided on the lowest score for the last 9, 6, 3 or 1 holes.
e) The Inter-Counties Team Trophy will be awarded to the County with the lowest aggregate total of its best seven scores from the team of nine and shall be the holder of the David King Salver for the year. In the event of a tie, the winner shall be the County returning the lowest eighth score. If a tie still remains, the winner shall be the County returning the lowest ninth score. If a tie still remains, the trophy shall be shared.
f) PLAYERS ARE NOT ALLOWED CADDIES
g) Players are allowed to wear tailored shorts as long as this does not contravene the dress rules of the hosting club.
