Devon won the Sheild with 4.5 points having won 4 matches and halved 1 with Cornwall second with 3.5 points. Devon's Captain Adam Bridgewater is pictured (right) with the sheild and the majority of the team. Those that had played for Devon during the week were David Ashley, David Blick, Sam Edwards, Harrison Greenberry, Peter Lawrence, Jimmy Mullen, Ryan Pope, Dan Rosevear, Jacob Tinsley and Matt Wells.
David Ashley from Devon won the Clifford Burden Trophy with 9 points winning 9 out of 10 matches. Last years winner Tom Fox from Cornwall was a close second with 8.5 points.

Wiltshire continue their success in this Championship with the England International Jordan Smith (pictured right) from Bowood Golf & Country Club winning with a score of 72 + 68 = 140 (2 under). Second was Ryan Fricker (Yelverton) from Devon with 72 + 69 = 141 and third on count back was Yoshio Takeuchi (Broom Manor) from Wiltshire 67 + 74 = 141 with his first round score of 67 being the best 18 hole score of the day equaling the amateur course record.
Wiltshire's Jordan Smith (pictured above) from Bowood Golf & Country Club also won the Youths Championship with Devon's Ryan Fricker from Yelverton second.
The Devon team qualified for the England Men's County Finals to be played at Minchinhampton from 27th to 29th September by winning the Qualifier for the first time since 2005 with an aggregate score of 890. Gloucestershire was second on 893 with Cornwall third 911 Dorset fourth 912 Somerset 937 and Wiltshire last having had one player disqualified.
