Boys Under 16 & Under 14 Championship

Kingsdown Golf Club, Wiltshire

This year's Championship, by rotation was hosted by Wiltshire at Kingsdown Golf Club. The course was in excellent condition and the Club Captain, made everyone very welcome when he spoke at the prize giving as did all the Club Staff.  

TEAM TROPHY

With the format of 7 out of 9 scores counting Gloucestershire (pictures here with the trophy) won the David King Salver with theteam of Matt Bell, Jack Cope, Jack Drury,  Brad Knapper, David Miles, Nathan Moore, Harrison Ottley-Woodd, Sebastian Pender & Joshua Phillips with an aggregate score 558. Wiltshire were second with 563,  Devon third on 569, Dorset 4th on 574, Cornwall 5th on 581 & Somerset 6th with 606.

INDIVIDUAL TROPHIES

U14 CHAMPIONSHIP

Dominic Walter from Wiltshire won the Ray Lawford Trophy with a gross 78.

Jack Drury Gloucestershire won the Ian Clark Trophy for the best nett with 69 and Joe Retford from Wiltshire was second with 74.

U16 CHAMPIONSHIP

Harrison Ottley-Woodd from Gloucestershire was the U16 Champion and overall winner with a gross 74 winning the Eric Scott Cooper Cotswold Ram (pictured below with Brian Griffiths, Past President of Cotswold Hills Golf Club). Second Jack Cope from Gloucestershire with 75 and third was Matt Bell from Gloucestershire with 76.
